Rodney, I will be lifting your wife up in prayer to our Lord, the giver of life. May God's grace fill your life with confidence in the one who created you.

Thank-you for your blogs. My wife has been diagnoised with breast cancer and while I have not had to experience the surgery or the any of the needles (We find out about Chemo/Radiation today), knowing what to expect gives me the strength to continue to be by her side.

We too have found strength in the Lord. The comment I posted today at my wife's site was a title to a song, "Oh, For a Thousand Tongues to Sing". The tongues are busy praying for your health, my wifes health, the care givers, the doctors, and for all that believe in our Lord. Oh to be part of the body of Christ, what a joyious feeling. As I pray for my wife, I will be praying for an "All Clear". God Bless, Rodney

I am humbled that God would use something I began with quite selfish motives (to keep from being overwhelmed with answering the same question over and over).

But isn't God glorious in this? I am amazed again how God uses the most feeble to bless others.

This is my prayer for Dan: that God would equip him with the hope that sustains him through the trials of chemotherapy. That even as God is sustaining Dan's innermost being, that health and healing will be permeating every cell of his body. Lord Jesus, bless, Dan, Beth and Ace through this time of illness. We thank you that the cancer was found before it had spread too far and that you are walking with this family every step of the way.

Dear Paula:
Today I sent some of your "blogging" (is that a word? still don't get all this new terminology!!) to Beth and Dan. He is struggling with a bad case of bronchitis in addition to the side effects of his chemo. Maybe he will receive some help with his struggles from your words. May the Lord richly bless you, my friend.
Love, Mary

Dear, sweet Paula,

Just as we have trusted God to heal you thusfar, I am trusting that this unknown tissue is something that God knows about and is prepared to heal along with all the rest. I praise him that the tumor is gone.

It seems that God wants us to know that he speaks to us and WANTS to speak to us. Just last night I was reading in my "Pray!" magazine an article with John Eldredge on Hearing God -- he has written a new book called "Walking with God" in which he shares his discovery of conversation with God and how it is accessible to everyone. He also shares all the scriptures that prove that this is a Biblical concept, so I was fascinated with the story you shared in your update.

Let me close with a short prayer for you.

Lord, I pray that you will bring peace to Paula as she waits for the results of this new unknown tissue and that you will show her that this is just one more opportunity to trust you for the good plans you have for her and her life. I pray that from this day, Paula's strength, energy, and physical health will be on an uphill and "fast" track. I pray that nothing will prevent her from experiencing daily joy in and with you, and I also pray that the love she has for you and for others will be evident to everyone she encounters. Thank you for allowing me to know this beautiful daughter of yours, and thank you for her healing. In Jesus name, Amen.

We prayed for you this morning in our staff meeting. Specifically, we prayed the Lord would grant you an extra measure of faith during this time. I love you mom. We are praying for you.
